HELLO! 

Thank you for your interest in an original painting specifically painted for you, your family and your home.It is an encouragement to me, a delight, and a privilege. Commissioning a painting is a BIG DEAL in one’s lifetime. It is exciting for both me and you (my client) as we get to slow down time, and focus on creating together, something that is inspiring and meaningful to hang within the walls of your home.

This is a big investment for you as well as for me, as it takes time. And it takes the right timing as well. I am so glad to paint something that honors and acknowledges this season of your life.

THE BEGINNING

In the beginning, we will set up a time to discuss the location of the painting in your home, sizing and pricing as well as any memories, pictures, textiles etc that most inspire you. After this point, I will send you an invoice where a 50% deposit is required to begin the process. During this time, I will begin doing what I love to do, paint an original painting for your space.

I love to incorporate meaningful elements from your life in abstract ways. This is an honor and a joy for me to honor the things most meaningful in your life. With that being said, please do not hesitate to email me pictures, memories, thoughts, quotes etc. that are important to you and your family.

THE MIDDLE

You will get images of your painting in the final stages (although some people prefer a surprise) where I welcome ANY AND ALL feedback. Please do not hesitate to give me your thoughts.

THE FINAL STAGE

We will coordinate delivery to your home. Please simmer on your painting in your space for a while and if needed, you get to make two revision requests within the original agreed upon price.

FINALLY

Final payment is due upon delivery of your painting. 

Although we do not include framing or coordinating the framing of your piece, we do have places we recommend as I would love to pass along the framers information.
