High up among the clouds,

Where the sky and the earth tangibly touch.

Where a little bit of earth touches a little bit of your heavens-

Oh to be among the mountains and clouds!

Take me up to the mountains, Oh Lord!

High above the earth, 

Where I can look down and catch a momentary glimpse of my life,

And see it, From your Perspective.

Take me up to the mountains, Oh Lord!

And for a moment, just a moment, envelope me in your clouds, your Heavenly presence.

Pull me out of my every day scramble, worries, fears and anxieties,

And remind me of who you are, your power, your individual love and care for me.

Take me up to the mountains, Oh Lord!

High up among the rock that is higher than I,

Today, as I live my life, I seek refuge in you,

And seek to live out my purpose, From your Perspective.
