“You Love Every Part of Me, Even When Life is Messy.”
I strongly dislike feeling out of control. But I’ve learned that instead of fighting it, I sometimes need to surrender my mechanisms for control and lean into the mess. I must humbly allow myself to live through the process—accepting that I am a work in progress, one big, beautiful, chaotic MESS.
This collection was painted in a season of surrender, choosing to embrace my messy, chaotic season rather than hide from it. These pieces are an act of being seen—by God and by myself—exactly as I am in this moment.
Healing doesn’t come from perfecting the image or rushing toward resolution. It comes from being raw, releasing control, and allowing the light to meet us in the middle of the mess.
Each painting was created by pure instinct. Every brushstroke is vulnerable. I allowed the canvas to become a mess—layering color, movement, and composition without overthinking the outcome. I trusted the process of painting, my intuition, and the unfolding of the work, believing that beauty would reveal itself in time.
