What if we were meant for more?

More than the allure of this fast paced, digitized life? A life that is tantalizing us to find happiness, peace and self-worth with one more click, one more scroll, one more “buy,” one more like. It's as if we can technically be in two places at once; physically present, but distracted somewhere else. And with that, comes the burdens of “to do” lists and needs and expectations.

What if we were meant for less? Slower? Centered?

I am always reminding myself to get outside and look out. It gives me perspective. Nature is scientifically proven to relieve stress, slow down the amygdala in our brains, and help us breathe. The green grass, blue skies and flowers are all composed as a beautiful symphony, created with such intention, purpose and beauty. Could they be intentionally made by the One who created them as a gentle reminder that delighting in beauty is good for us? That seeking a life of peace and order and intention is the “more” we need? And a reminder that the Creator is in control.

This collection is to encourage each other to get out there Among Fields and Flowers and delight in them all. Letting them remind us whose we are, again and again.
